Summer is over, but the fun has just begun

Well Hello Stranger (and by Stranger I mean Gail bc you are the only one who comments/ reads my posts). If you are not leaving your comments, PEOPLE, then I think you are not reading. Remember I am an only child and I need attention. Edwin has learned - not really - he always knew. That is probably why the past 10 years have been a breeze.

Since my last post, whenever that was, I have come to realize a few things about myself. One is that getting a new vacuum can make me oh so happy. Another is that I need, not a personal trainer, but mental help. And "a regular psychiatrist couldn't even help you (me). You (I) need to go to, like, Vienna or something". If anyone remembers that quote (that means you Gail) let me know because we would have one more thing in common. Last, but not least, I have also realized that even the smallest things left in the hands of God work out for the best. Not that I ever doubted it, but sometimes the little things, that seem so shallow and unimportant are really what make our world go round. I don't want to get myself started on a Micro-Economics discussion with myself because I can and I will, but I must say that little things make such a difference... you know like the little candies and little cookies I eat all day.

Where am I going with this post today? I myself wonder. I just wanted to get SOMETHING up for Gail to read, you know.

The truth is that I have lots of things to tell you about. Jonathan is doing great. Never doubted it (that is a lie, I was scared to death as you may have read on previous posts). He is coming up on his 7th month, teething, rolling over, eating, sleeping through the night for a while now and just such a beautiful big baby. The before and after pics of the "booger" are incredible. He has rolls e-ve-ry-where! And he loves to smile. He's got my father, who turned 84 on 8/2, on his knees playing with him on the floor mat. And my mother, who didn't carry David when he was born 6 years ago because she had a pacemaker and couldn't carry that much weight, doesn't seem to care very much about her pacemaker anymore.

Apart from Jonathan's health, Olivia and David are doing great. Started school and were selected for the EFL (extended foreign language program - Spanish). Not sure if you have the same problem, but keeping the Spanish at home is very difficult and every little bit helps. They are excited about Seaworld in Spetember and they will be even more so after the surprise we have for them this weekend. Can't post it... Edwin told me not to tell anyone yet. Gail knows what it is, though. You see, she reads my posts so she gets special treatment. Are you getting how this works yet?

Finally, I have to say that my work situation has improved quite a bit. Still working from home, but with the new boss who is a gentleman, things are running smooth. It is so easy to be nice and normal. Why can't more people be inside the bell shaped curve? There are a few other PRAISES, but they are a little too personal to post to be honest. Gail, I will tell you on the phone - LOL. Ok, I will stop... for Gail's sake.

I will close with a verse - Isaiah 43. It's a whole chapter, but it's worth it. And you know what else is worth it (not that they are in the same level or worthiness), Burger King Oatmeal. Beats out McDonalds and Starbuck any day. Try it. It has caramel in it.

Speaking of sugar and spice - here are a few pics for you to love. I hope you all have a great 2011-2012 school year!

Enjoying God's grace every day!
